Gene received a BS and Masters of Economics degree from NC State University. After graduation, he joined Union Carbide Corporation in Charlotte, NC as a production supervisor, and worked there for two years. Gene spent the next five years in Rochester,NY working for Xerox Corporation in their long-range planning department. During the next fifteen years Gene returned to North Carolina to build a very successful women’s accessories company, manufacturing and importing products for major retail stores in the USA.
In 1995, Gene joined MR New Bern as an Accountant Executive working in the food industry. In 1998, Gene purchased a MRI Franchise and opened an office in Winterville, NC. After terminating his relations with MRI, Gene started Taylor Search in Winterville, NC. Gene continues to recruit in the food industry.
